Kytäjä on seperate ways 6.12.2009

No, they haven't split up. Jarno Alho and Janne Lastumäki, the two friends who formed instrumental duo Kytäjä are working on their sophomore album still. Kytaja_Jarno_Janne

It gonna take some more time, as right now they are busy on seperate tracks. Jarno Alho is also in Sister Flo, who've been recording with Jori Hulkkonen for their new Album, entitled "Au". Janne Lastumäki is traveling Europe in a van, being the drummer for Vuk. If you have a chance catch them, highly recommended.

Today is the release date of Wild Girl Walk for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (via Cargo/Hoanzl/Phonag). Please go and check your local record store. German critics just recommend the same.

Todays' Helsinki gig of Goodnight Monsters at our own Bone Voyage Club is cancelled, due to illness (Get well soon). But: instead of GM, NEW TIGERS gonna play with THE LARIOTS.
New Tigers is another fresh and fabulous band from Turku, which features the not-so-sick members of GM (Valtteri & x-drummer Kece). Bone Voyage Club is a regularly happening in Helsinki, formerly held at très simpático venue Belly, but now moved to Alakarta/Nosturi, which might be even a better place to see the Bone favs battle and the DJ spin. And while they still rocked Europeans to trance, we got the confirmation that in January 2010 Joensuu 1685 gonna play EurosoSonic Noorderslag - The European Music Conference and Showcase Festival in Groningen, The Netherlands. So there's more to come, keep it burning.
