No - no stock news here on General Motors. Goodnight Monsters are on Fire with the Cats.

Together with Turku fellows Cats On Fire they play a tour of Germany and after that add some dates in France. Special for this tour: GM go back to how it all started out. The line-up for these gigs will consist of Matti and Valtteri, so it's a very very special duo sorta rocking rocking tour. Not to be missed! Boss Girls in the sun 8.4.2009

BOSS HOG are re-united and played their first gig since 9 years in NYC last december. Seemingly it went well, now there are european dates announced late spring.

How are we connected to this? Well, not really, but our MICRAGIRLS have just been asked to open for them. If that gonna fit in the recording process of the new micra-record? Yes, it does. It's the perfect break especially as those concerts are in a part of Europe where it's gonna be light and sunny and just spring-time. Finns like that too.

There was a guy on his knees from time to time trying to hold it up and gaffer it back on simultaneously. Katariina on crazy home organ, which she sat at, was concentratedly tapping away as if at a sewing machine creating a new crazy outfit for the band. Periodically, she got up and stood on the chair so she could just play the organ with her pixie boots. Kristiina was thumping away on drums like a trooper, and singing full on. Copenhagen gonna see a special event dedicated to 22-Pistepirkko and their label Bone Voyage. The event with concerts, films and art, taking place in various rooms at cultural house Huset, is named after their first english sung single OU WEE!. This french word for "Yes!" in its Finglish spelling turned into some trademark phrase of the band. One could take it as an expression for excitement, curiosity and the playful ecclecticism the unique trio has been famous for since 1981. The Altai Studios 20.9.2007

The ALTAI-Studios in Helsinki was set up freshly by the band this year and is already in full bloom. Quickly it became the main facility for upcoming Bone Voyage recordings. Recordings which are in the making:

- 22-Pistepirkko have just finished the recording session for their upcoming new album with american producer KRAMER at band's own Altai-studio in Helsinki. The final mix and mastering happens in Florida, USA at Kramers studio. The new 22-Pistepirkko album is planned for an early 2008 release on their Bone Voyage label. KRAMER as an outstanding musician, studio-owner, producer, label-owner (Shimmy Disc) has been working with bands like Galaxie 500, Daniel Johnston, Urge Overkill, Ween, Butthole Surfers a.m.o.

- Goodnight Monsters producing the follow up to their debut together with Petteri Rajanti.

- Joensuu 1685 (young trio, formerly Autopilot) have started the recordings for a debut album together with Leo Fourastié and Asko Keränen

- Anssi 8000 & Maria Stereo just recorded new songs and demoes as the duo they are now.

- Tuomari Nurmio started to record with his drummer as Judge Bone & Doc Hill a new set of songs sung in english, together with Pentti Dassum on the desk.

update spring 2010:

ouwee - above was typed sept 2007. time is flying. in the meantime all those above mentioned albums are out there, somewhere. Maybe you even own one of them. Then there was also The Micragirls' "Wild Girl Walk" finished at Altai. And some more. And some more remodelling of the rooms.

Right now 22-Pistepirkko is back, working on 40+ songs and a new album due to get released this year.
